Hi, I'm Alyssa Richards!
I'm from Utah and I'm 28 years old. I'm a wife, momma to a sweet and sassy two-year old, and dog mom to a Mini Australian Shepherd. I have 2 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. From a young age, I knew I wanted a job where I could work with children. I'm sure it has a lot to do with being the oldest sibling in the family. Fast forward all these years, and I have a daughter who I couldn't imagine my life without, and so many nieces and nephews who I love like my own. Family is the most important thing in the world to me. Other than spending time with my family, some of the things I like to do are dance, sing, journal, travel, and snorkel.
I graduated from UVU in 2020 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching and working in elementary schools for about 8 years. I am currently working as a math intervention teacher at a charter school. I love working with kids and couldn't imagine doing anything else. It is the most rewarding job!
I specialize in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where children feel empowered to explore, ask questions, and discover their unique strengths. From building foundational skills in math and literacy to fostering creativity through interactive activities, I tailor each session to meet the individual needs and interests of every child.
